First time reading the book by myself (my dad read the books aloud when I was a kid). I love how J.K. Rowling is so detailed about her imaginary world. Makes me wish the wizarding world was real! 5 star book. In hindsight, the movie is very much like the book with the book being even better.

I really want to be able to say that I loved this book, but I just didn't :( I loved the beginning 5 or so chapters, and the last 5 but the middle 40 something chapers were just...meh. If you have ever read a Meyer book you know that for some reason her books seriously lag in the middle. Great story, poor execution.
39. The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
I really want to be able to say that I loved this book, but I just didn't :( I loved the beginning 5 or so chapters, and the last 5 but the middle 40 something chapers were just...meh. If you have ever read a Meyer book you know that for some reason her books seriously lag in the middle. Great story, poor execution.
